THRIVE Beyond Religion is a small nonprofit. We do not sell your information. We only collect what we need to connect you with groups and events.
What we collect
- When you contact a group. We collect your name, email, the group you picked, and your message. We send it to that group’s volunteer leader so they can reply to you. We also keep a copy on our website so we can help if a message gets lost.
- When you buy a ticket. Tickets are sold through Zeffy. Zeffy shares your name, email, and what you bought with us. Zeffy handles your payment, and we never see your card details.
- When you donate. Donations go through Zeffy (some past gifts went through PayPal). They share your name, email, and gift amount with us. We never see your card or bank details.
- When you email us. We keep your email so we can write back.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and connect you with a group.
- To run events you signed up for.
- To send ticket buyers an occasional email about upcoming events they may enjoy.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us at ThriveBeyondReligion@gmail.com.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with the people and services that help us do our work:
- Volunteer group leaders, when you send their group a message
- Zeffy, for tickets and donations
- PayPal, for some past donations
- SiteGround, the company that hosts our website
- hCaptcha, which checks that form messages come from real people and not spam bots
- Google, for website visit counts and ads (see below)
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and website visits
We may use Google tools, like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to count visits and learn which pages are helpful. These tools use cookies and collect things like your browser type, rough location, and the pages you view. They do not tell us your name.
We may also run Google ads, including through the Google Ad Grants program for nonprofits, to help people find us. Google may use cookies to see if someone came to our site from an ad.
You can block cookies in your browser settings. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool and manage ad settings at My Ad Center.
Our forms use hCaptcha to stop spam, which may set its own cookie.
See, change, or delete your information
Email ThriveBeyondReligion@gmail.com and we will show you what we have, fix it, or delete all of it. Zeffy and PayPal may need to keep some payment records for tax and legal reasons.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
